What gets deleted

• Your account, name, email and password.
• Every profile you created, and every photo you uploaded.
• Your entire scan history.
• Your notifications and push registrations.

Your physical tags are returned to unregistered stock and their web addresses are changed, so any link that was previously written to a chip stops working. The tags themselves can be set up again from scratch by anyone.

If you subscribe to Unlimited Tags

Cancel the subscription in Google Play before you delete your account. Deleting your Tag N Tap account does not cancel it, and Google Play will keep charging you until you do. Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

What we keep, and for how long

Nothing personal. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no 30-day recovery window and no archived copy. Aggregate counts that identify nobody (for example "tags activated this month") remain.

If you cannot use the app

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, request deletion here. We verify that you own the address before deleting anything, and we complete the request within 30 days.

Just want to stop a tag working?

You do not have to delete your whole account. In the app, open the tag and choose Switch tag off — its page immediately shows nothing, and you can switch it back on whenever you like.
