A Tag and Tap tag turns any lost dog or misrouted suitcase into a phone call. Someone taps it, your details appear, and you get told where it happened.
The person who finds them needs nothing. No app, no account, no sign-up. They hold their phone near the tag and a web page opens. That is the whole interaction.
How it works
1. Make a profile
Your pet's name and photo, your phone number, the vet, anything that helps. Each field has its own public or private switch, so you decide exactly what a stranger sees. Medical details and microchip numbers stay private unless you turn them on.
2. Hold your phone to the tag
The app writes your profile's web address onto the tag. It takes about a second. The address never changes, so you can edit your details for years without replacing the tag.
3. Someone finds them and taps
Their phone opens your profile. They can call you with one tap. You get a notification telling you when and roughly where it was scanned.
Lost Mode
If the worst happens, mark your pet as lost. Every tag linked to that profile changes instantly — the page turns bright orange, leads with THIS PET IS LOST, and puts your number and your emergency contact above everything else.
Whoever finds them can also share their exact location with you, with one tap and their permission. Mark your pet found and the page goes straight back to normal.
What you can tag
- Pets and dogs — name, breed, temperament, vet, medical needs, and Lost Mode.
- Luggage — owner, contact, destination and return instructions, without publishing your home address.
One account holds as many tags as you need, each with its own profile and its own scan history.
Works with tags you already own
Our tags arrive ready to activate. If you already have blank NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216 tags, the app will write to those too — there is a compatibility checker built in.
Every profile also gets a QR code that points to exactly the same page, so a phone without NFC still works.
Privacy, plainly
- You choose what is public. Everything else stays private.
- We never store the IP address of a person who scans your tag.
- No advertising, no trackers, no analytics, no selling data.
- Tag pages are hidden from search engines and their addresses cannot be guessed.
